1950s, 50s Crafts, Retro Home Decor Patterns - Feminine Frills! Use dainty floral patterned chintz or taffeta combined with plain colored matching material or organdy. The plain colored flounce is gathered and stitched to a muslin band which is tacked to the spring edge. The spread is cut to fit the top surface of the mattress and has a gathered ruffle. The valance and curtains are hung on a double rod. Various sizes.
