Collection: New York
The New York Pattern Company (1932-1953) was an independent American brand. They were a significant player during the Great Depression and World War II era, known for producing stylish yet affordable unprinted tissue patterns. For much of the 1930s, they were one of the few companies to print instructions on the inside of the envelope to save on paper costs. They are easily identified by their narrow envelope shape and hand-drawn fashion illustrations.
