Collection: Everything 1970s

The 1970s began with
hippie vibes, moved to disco glam and ended with edgy punk.
- Boho Glam (1970-1973) The era blended "back-to-nature" peasant styles and bell-bottoms with the theatrical, gender-fluid glam rock aesthetic of David Bowie.
- Disco Fever (1974–1976) Nightlife fashion focused on movement and shine. DVF's famed wrap dresses, Halston's halter necks, colorful polyester leisure suits, and flashy sequins were designed to stand out on the dance floor.
- Punk & Structure: (1977-1979) Vivienne Westwood’s "anti-fashion" punk movement introduced ripped denim and safety pins, while high fashion pivoted toward the bold shoulders of the upcoming '80s.
