McCall's

Founded in 1870 by James McCall, the McCall Pattern Company distinguished itself early on by being the first to introduce printed patterns in 1919, a major departure from the unprinted, perforated tissue used by competitors. Some featured designers: Laura Ashley, Claire McCardell, Elsa Schiaparelli, Jean Patou, Pauline Trigère, Biba, Bob Mackie, Givenchy, and Pucci.
