1948, 40s Lingerie, Retro Undergarments Clothing Patterns - Slip, petticoat and camisole.. great retro lingerie! The princess slip, supported with self fabric shoulder straps, features lace trimming at the shaped upper edge. Embroidered edging and ribbon, slipped thru beading, enhance the upper edge and straps of the camisole top. Elastic is featured at the waistline. The petticoat is seamed at either side of the center front and back and joins to a waistband. A double row of embroidered ruffling finishes the lower edge of the petticoat. Nicely flared style that could be used as a crinoline under your fuller skirts or dresses! Suited for silk or rayon crepe, satin, batiste, taffeta, balloon cloth, lawn, cotton broadcloth, dimity, rayon jersey.
