1956, 50s Designer, Retro Evening Clothing Patterns - ARGH it's hard for me to part with this pattern.. it's The Givenchy Pink Dress that right now, appears to be the ONLY ONE ON THE INTERNET. This UNCUT pattern is for a tiered crinoline petticoat and the utterly beautiful dress that is fashioned smoothly in the front, has pleating over the hips & rear forming almost a bustling.. ribbon banding encircles the hips and curves up to form the tied shoulder straps. Finished hem sweep of 172". Suggested fabrics View A: Organza, Voile, Organdy.. bands & lining satin, polished cotton. Dress View B: Tissue cotton or silk, handkerchief linen. No diagonals.
